MARKLAND (Bluesy Funk Rock)

Aaron Markland teamed up with his brother Justin (Bass), his father Steve “Tunker” Markland (Harmonica), and good friend Randy Jones (Drums), to start the blues rock band MARKLAND. MARKLAND recorded their debut self-titled album in 2014, and completed the entire project in one month’s time. The album was produced by OB local Michael Head of “The Country Rockin’ Rebels”at Headtrap Music Studio in La Mesa, CA. After their debut album release, MARKLAND sold thousands of downloads, were signed by Crucial Music Publishing, were played on radio stations across California, Arizona, and New Mexico, opened for Leif Garrett at the World Famous Whiskey A Go Go in Hollywood, performed on the Main Stage at the 2015 Ocean Beach Street Fair,  and are featured in the 2017 documentary “Adventures of Miss Fit”.
